Fee's are too outrageous. Ebay had a good business model but have gotten greedy and nickle and dime people. I think a lot of people are switching to Amazon. Also craigslist if you want to do it on the cheap.

Like Ninersnut said. The fees are quite ridiculous nowadays.

But sometimes you can find deals online, and it's better to flip them on Ebay than craigslist.

I've gotten 3 nice dvd players online for 34.xx a piece, tried selling them on craigslist, and nobody around the area wanted them, so I had to resort to Ebay, sold them each for about 125-145.

Also have found some nice DVD box set's that I've been able to flip for about 35 a piece.

Haven't done that in a couple years though.

I thought about buying ncaa, nfl, mlb tshirts and sell them here in europe.

I still have 94 free placements on ebay.

I use to sell old silver coins and old paper money on eBay but eBay fees and PayPal fees cut to much into profit so it became to time consuming for me.

I used to wheel and deal a ton of shit on eBay for a few extra bucks, but now the percentage and listing fees are outrageous and really cut into the profit margin, so it's not really worth it. I used to flip higher end golf clubs on eBay and do pretty well. Also, I'm really into consignment shops and antique stores...so I used to find some good high-end clothing/antiques and flip them online too. Made some really good money over the years and it gave me something to do for a hobby.

One of the greediest corporations out there and they're digging their own grave. Not even 1/4 of the quality stuff that used to be up for auction.

Yeah, the only one making real money on ebay is ebay.
My account got hacked some years back, have no desire to restore it. The fees are b.s.

been buying/selling for 12 years on there. fees suck, but still make money with a nationwide audience. bigger stuff goes on CL though.

In the past i made good money selling rare Hardrock and Metal AOR and Soundtracks CDs ,some ofthem went 300+, good profit when you find them for 5 Bucks in a secondhandshop, bu over now prices went down after most these raries will be reissued, but youcan still make money when you find some rare CDs , go check out www.heavyharmonies.com for a list of rareCDs with theirebay avarage
