    Stephen Curry in the NBA?
Believe it or not I think Stephen Curry is even a better shooter than his dad Del Curry, and we all know how good his pops was based on his longevity in the NBA.

I think he's the real deal Mofo. Not to mention the fact that his pops has probably taught him the NBA mentality to book, so that will only make him better.

I think he could serve as a shooter in the NBA, has plenty of range and consistency in his jumper. He never just flings it to get it off quickly, he always is in a good position and on balance which is why he made over 150 3's and shoots such a good percentage.

He did just light up two of the top defensive teams in the country for more than 30, expecially laying 33 on Flowers.

He will be a specialist since he doesn't score much in his one-on-one game and all come running off screens...but he will be a great pickup to shoot the 3.

he can get off his own shot and he doesn't have to be set to shoot. he'll be a good player in the league.

he definitely has to put on some size, but he's only a frshman so that's not a worry right now. i am sure he'll hit the gym hard this off season. guy is a flat out star and will definitely get drafted by an nba team.

almost 5 boards a game. almost 4 assists. hes a great rebounding guard and a very good defensive player. Ellis is a very good player and would be good on any team.

Short shooters do well in NCAA but how many 6'3 NBA shooting guards are out there? Iverson, Dajuan Wagner, Jaun Dixon, Ellis, they all have/had problems fitting in to a team especially on defense. If he is really good the NBA team needs to go out and get an Eric Snow PG like they did for AI so he can guard the 2 spot.

Curry will not be a good fit for NBA. His style of play is more suited to European Leagues. He is an excellent spot up shooter but can't create his own shot. If he gets free with designed screen plays he is lethal but can't shoot over NBA sized defenders. I he goes to Europe and gets established for a team for 4-5 years he may be able to go to NBA and play a supporting role for a team.

He's a better pure shooter than Wagner (and I was a huge Wagner fan) and he lacks the off-court issues that may (or may not) have plagued Wagner. Personally, I think he's a better scorer than his dad, and maybe as good of a pure shooter. I think he projects to a 14ppg player in the League within 3 years. If his body fills in, he could go for 18+ afterwards. Certainly a guy you want on your team: no posse, no ego, thrives in big situations, wants the ball in crunchtime, natural leader, etc. Plus, I think too little is being made of his ability to move without the ball. You don't think every team has a game plan that basically says "Stop Curry. Deny him the ball."? They do and he still burns them. Granted, the League is a different animal and he could end up being the second coming of Bo Kimble. Then again, he could end up being a Dale Ellis type or, as mentioned previously, a Monta Ellis clone. Worst case scenario: He comes into the league and becomes what Scotty Thurman would have become in the league: a one-dimensional player who has a good shot and nothing else. Best case: His body matures a bit and he exceeds both Ellis's and ends up averaging a 20-8 (kid's a pretty good passer with great instincts). Time will tell. Something tells me that he does succeed because of his pedigree and his unflappability.
