    Betting/Living in Reno, NV
I might be off to Reno Nevada for a while for work (in the sales biz) and Im wondering if there are any people that live there or have been there?

    whats it like?

I know they have a few resorts. anyone been to these?: how can Reno sustain all these resorts/casinos? is it really that big of a tourist place?

Anyone with experience being in Reno

much smaller version of las vegas. big on bowling there also. much colder too. if you have money you can bet there just as easily as in vegas.

I have a relative that lives close to there and it is much colder than Vegas is. You have fewer casinos there than in Vegas. As far as being able to wager it is not a problem at all. I hope you enjoy your trip and have some fun there.

It's not bad. I lived in Lake Tahoe (South Lake) for a couple years, and would jump the stateline to hit the casinos all the time. It's pretty cool.. Actually, yeah it's really frichin cool, in otherwords freezing.

If you know what you are doing, the other areas of gaming are very fruitful..........better than Vegas actually.

I stayed in Stateline, NV for awhile. Cheaper than Reno. There's a Harrahs with a nice enough sportsbook. A couple of other spots too.
