How Accurate is SBR Odds Bet %
Seems to never change after the initial numbers are posted.

It does change, but it may work different than you expect. Right now the % being displayed is only the % of people on each side of the current line. It does not show the total % for all bets placed on either side.

But doesn't it only track one books bets, or something like that?

I use this, which could be the same thing, but who fuckkin knows.

Gotcha, I was under impression it was number of bets, not volume of money.

Can you tell me if it is sum of all books tracked by sbrodds, or only one book?

Thanks, I had previously used sports insights, but have just been using sbrodds lately.

pretty sure it's the number of bets from 5dimes and it does change, click on the numbers and you can see the history just like if you click on the spread or totals you can see the history of changes.

i think that is only based on one book, theres literally no possible way 6% of the action is on seton hall especially with hazzell back

These percentages are usually not going to be very accurate because they are a reflection of the percentage of bettors on each side and not money. But more importantly SBR gets their % from 5Dimes I believe, so they are pretty much pointless for 2 major reasons.
1)5dimes is a rec book and turns away sharp action.
2)5dimes is a copycat book and do not move the market they follow.

It is the number of bets, not the volume of money. We only get the consensus from 5dimes.

I always think those percentage numbers are random.
