New to All of This

Hey guys I am completely new to sports betting. I've always had a passion for sports and followed the lines here and there but never actually bet the games. I decided that it is time I start losing money with the rest of you!

In all honesty I am blessed to have a well paying job, so I am able to wager $500 to $1000 per game. I was wondering if anyone here bets around those amounts so I could possibly chat with you a little to see how you manage your money and pick your games.

I think you'll find the amount is relative and doesn't change strategy much. There are some very sharp guys that bet $250 per or less. It's about their opinion or perceived advantage more than the amount. The amounts come into play more when it's a book with low max wagers or the minor sports or leagues.

well i smoke my dimes, but i usually do 12 big bets a year, which can range from 5-10k on the level of confidence i have. hope that helps. be sure to shoot me a pm if u need any other help.

welcome aboard, maybe you should try and bet a little less per game starting out. it can be a rough going at first and very humbling.
