Is it too easy to lose money quickly in online blackjack
For me it is, i cant be in that room longer than 4 minutes. the game is far too fast and my impulse control is not made for it.

Way too easy to lose money fast online. I learned my lesson after some pretty huge losses playing blackjack. I can't say whether or not it's rigged, but it made me think about it when I lost 15 hands in a row on a couple of different occasions. I've lost 10 hands in a row in Vegas before so maybe online is legit. Who really knows? I won't ever play online casino games ever again though.

Absolutely it is. I am just personally asking every SBR player to disable their casino accounts in each of their sportsbooks. IT WILL SAVE YOU POTENTIALLY LOTS OF MONEY. The truth is the blackjack may or may not be rigged but who cares, even if it's not "rigged" blackjack itself is a -EV game, the more you play at the casino (with continuous reshuffling) the more you will lose, no matter who you are. That said I online blackjack is probably rigged beyond that, like programming endless streaks of losing hands in a row knowing that compulsive bettors will progress their bets chasing their losses and within minutes will be broke. I personally lost 3500 in under 5 mins at Bodog Casino 3 yrs ago and it turned my stomach (b/c I had deposited 300 and in like a week had turned it into 3500 betting on poker/sports) and five minutes after logging on to play the Bodog Casino I was broke. How it happens is this bet 10 lose, bet 10 lose, bet 20 chasing lose, bet 40 chasing lose, bet 100 chasing lose, bet 200 chasing lose, finally you are sitting there -400 and you say oh fuk this bull shit I'll bet the max and mean fuk it if I lose I'm down 900, but I gotta be "due" for a winning hand. I bet 500 and was dealt 55 against a six, I doubled down and got a 10 (I was elated...momentarily), dealer reveals a 10 for 16 hits and gets OMFG you gotta be kidding me a 5555555, in 7 hands you are down 1400, obviously now you are insane and 500 a hand bet four more hands and withing 5 minutes that's how you blow 3500. It is far diff. than real casinos in that I would've had to reached into my wallet to pull out thousands to bet that money, the wallet "reach in" serves as a reality check that you are losing real money plus the game is much too fast b/c it's just you and the dealer. I HAVE WITHIN THE LAST 2 WEEKS DISABLED ALL MY SPORTSBOOK CASINOS AND I RECOMMEND ANYONE WHO WANTS TO TURN A PROFIT DO THE SAME. GLA

Thats why off-shore books can give us a bonus when we sign up. They make a ton of money from people who play at their casinos. We need people to keep playing at the casinos so we can get our bonuse moey. Don't tell casino players about this.

I am not to bright. Since I have won a few hundred at BJ I keep thinking can win. But then I chase my losses.
I just won 50 on the PITT game yesterday and a baseball parlay. It takes a lot to watch all the games and win - but within minutes tonight I lost it all on BJ. Everytime I won money at sports I lose it at casino. I won a 130 parlay last week. Lost it all on Blackcrack. I had it up to 280 on BJ but just like this guy said - once I start losing - I lose impulse ocntrol and spilled the 280 - then you reload chasing it back.
This is my demise as a gambler - since I do not do too badly at sports betting. Since I won the 150 I keep thinking I can do it again. THe problem is impulse control. Even when you win you want to chase more wins. You set a bottom, then get upset and lower your bottom till it is gone.
I have disabled my casino, but all it takes is an email to re-enable it. I suggest anyone with degenerate, impulse control issues - to never start blackjack to begin with.

Great post BTM999 that story gave me flash backs of my first year using on-line book. i too played online BJ and its just as you described. Now I have 3 books ALL CASINO DISABLED! I suffer too much at getting my bankroll up to lose it at 1am after coming home drunk and wanting to play. Take our advice boys and girls tell your Sportsbook to deactivate the casino, you will thank us later!

I once had a balance of say $690. I started playing to round it to $700. I lost it all in about 30 minutes.

bet $5 a hand for 5 hands in a row, if you lose all 5 go up to 10, you cannot lose forever, but man, you cant see the dealer, so who knows
though they can win without cheating, bc you come in at -even odds

It won't work. There is a table max. It isn't that uncommon to lose 10 or more hands in a row.

I got 21 and still lost. That was pretty much the slap in the face I needed to stop.
