Two nights in Vegas. More?

Probably heading out to Vegas for opening round of march madness...

Target dates are March 17th and 18th (Friday and Saturday)... is that enough time to:
- hook up with some hotties
- lose all my money
- get tired of living the vegas life and crave wanting to go back to my 9-5
- win a rap battle vs lil weezy

I just got back from vegas last week and they OWNED my ass. This was my 3rd time there and it was the 1st time that I hadnt won shit. So I never left Vegas a loser until this time and it totally sucks ass.

I hope I can write a trip report that does it some justice.

It'll be my first time going to Vegas and as a recent college grad I still have the raging party bone in my body. Really looking forward to it.

Sadly my senior year in college was marred by me tilting over 1.5k in poker while I was drunk so we'll see how I do in Vegas

Any amount of time is good for Vegas...but I always have my friends come visit for 4-5 days. 2 days is a quick turnaround and 7 days is too long.

2 days is never enough. I am in DC and went to vegas for 4 days a few weeks ago, let me tell you, you better take a whole week off for Vegas, it is fun but gotta be disciplined and lose little everyday, not all at once!

You need atleast 3 days for sure. We did a 5 with 3 on the strip and 3 on freemont street it was perfect

It's better to go for a shorter amount of time and double what you would normally bet. Why take 3-4 days to lose your money when you can do it in 1-2 days. Plus if you do hit a streak, having doubled up on the wagers, you then probably have enough money to buy an extra room for a day and pay for a non-vacation day at your 9-5 job, if you want to stay an extra day. 4 days to me is too long. After the 3rd day you will looking for the $.99 shrimp cocktails for every meal.

Poker is my vice... I do have a full time job though, I would probably roll with like 1-1.5k in gambling money and another 500 for drinking.

My goal would not be lose it ALL but I wouldn't be sad to see it go if it was a worthwhile weekend.

Plan for a day of withdrawls when you get back. That first day back from Vegas I keep looking over my shoulder for the waitress with my drink.

Vegas is a resort city that caters to all sorts of budgets and interests. As long as you're aware of your entertainment options, there's plenty to do for a 7 day trip. I personally wouldn't want to visit any place for just 2 days unless the travel was short and cheap, and unless you're a massive degen you most likely won't be broke or burnt out after 2 days. 2K should be enough to sneak in another night, even if you are partying hard.
