I have been told this countless times and I think it's pretty true. The only way it really could be false is if the girl, after getting to know you, finds that you are better or worse than she originally thought. If it's better, it could be the beginning of a really long and good relationship. If it's worse, she will probably hate you for a very long time.

I think this really depends on the girl. I've liked guys and then, after a short period of time realized that, perhaps there were things about him that I couldn't get past and ended the relationship. But, I never "hated" anyone.

No one is perfect, so the imperfections people find in each other are either things you can learn to live with or things you can't.
