I know lots of people that knock gambling, even for those who only bet every once in a while, but those same people go to games all the time. Sure there is something to be said for the experience, but if you can watch a game on tv and actually give yourself the chance to win money, it seems like a much better investment. When you go to a game everything is expensive from gas to beer and that money is gone no matter what happens in your game. when you bet you are not only more into the game, but you actually have the chance to profit while being entertained.

Yes. Everytime I go to a Blue Jays game, I drink atleast 6 or 7 overpriced beers and my girlfriend (ex now) gets embarassed when I start yelling at the 3rd baseman. One time I think I made Joe Crede cry.
This year its 3 beer limit and no heckling.

Yea, you do have a chance to profit. But you also have a chance to lose, and some people who spend the money on the game/food/gas etc just do not want to risk it.

That being said, I pretty much bet on every game I go to.
