I've been following both these teams very closely this season, and while I normally never start threads like this, I'm making an exception here. Ken Pomeroy has this pegged as a 64-59 Wright State win, but I think it will be more comfortable than that. I just loaded up on the moneyline at -190 in case it does end up being a close game.

I'll get into a more detailed write-up for anyone that's interested, but for now I'll just say that this is a good spot for them to win by about 8-10 points. If you're looking for a good place to grab a little action tonight, take the moneyline and be confident in the win at home for Wright State. I don't believe in locks, but I do think this is a 5x play on my scale of 1 to 5.

Appreciate the thread. Anything to provoke thought. But I took a look, and I have to say I'm with LT on this. This game is going to be hotly contested. I'll be surprised if either team gets a big lead. Especially Wright State. Valpo scores 73.4 points per game, to Wright State's 64. Valpo with the points looks like the play. Valpo has a much better RPI (72 v. 120). Wright State is a terrible rebounding team (342nd, with only 28.1 per game); Valpo is OK in that department. Appears that Wright State is going to try to slow the pace of this game, and probably will have to rely on outside shooting. I see that Wright State takes good care of the ball, and they shoot pretty well (but not great). Still. I'll go with the faster playing, stronger-in-the-paint team. Small play for me on Valpo with the points. GL.

what exactly impresses u about wright state they lost 3 starters off last yrs team and is not as strong in the frontcourt this yr, they r on a winning streak but so is valpo n they actually r stronger with sum additions. valpo comes in off an impressive victory over cleveland state i think theyll come in confident and give wright state one hell of a game would not by any means count out them winning. u have no analysis to bak this pick up yet u make an exception for it?
