i go to do some laundry and i dont feel like waiting for my clothes so i walk over and grab a beer and play some darts at the local bar. these 2 big time dart guys (came with their own darts) tried to hustle me. they wanted me to go to another bar for some gambling, but i wasn't having it since Bill gets mad if i show up at the office with dirty draws on. If i hadn't had to wash some clothes those guys would have been done for.

i'm not good at darts ,but i have played at bars against people that have their own darts and won quite a few times using the crappy bent up yellow plastic darts, that pisses guys off.
i used to shoot a good stick, well actually i still do, i just don't play much. the thing is, i've never owned my own stick, and when i used to bar hop in my early 20's, i would be at a bar sometimes that would have a tournament going on, i would enter and just grab a house stick off the wall, i used to piss guys off all the time who thought they were bad azzes. i never came in first, the best i ever did was 3rd, usually i'd only win the first 2-3 games then get knocked out, but it was fun to at least knock a few guys out early who thought they were good because they got their own stick.
i'm still considered one of the best at my 2 regular watering holes, but i just like to play for fun, maybe for a dollar, sometimes a beer. i hate when some billy badazz comes in and you can tell he's someone just looking for a fight, and dude goes around the bar asking people if they want to play, people will always turn them away but point them in my direction, then i got to say i ain't interested, then they usually start the "oh come on ", "just for a beer", "man i just want to play ONE game". these scenarios never turn out good for me, either they really are just a drunk idiot and i win and its over, or they are a drunk idiot who gets pissed when i keep beating them and start accusing me of hustling them , or they are trying to play the drunken idiot role and are trying to hustle me and they all of the sudden have their own stick in their car and start wanting to play for 5-10 dollars a game, and i still win, that really pisses them off.Comment -

i throw, but most people are not safe. I can normally hit the number im throwing at if given my 3 darts, but thats about it. im semi-coordinated so i don't embarrass myself too much. i would dominate sportsgirl if she ever stepped to me like these guys did. they were bigger than me so i just pretended i didnt speak english. it worked.Comment -

That kind of money has only been the last 5 years or so if it had been that way 20 years ago id never have stopped playing every day and every tournament i could go to! John Lowe won the North American Open in 1988 $10,000. That was in a $50,000 tournament the one below last years Ladbrokes.com World Championship
