Rivera is hardly fading. Guy just keeps ticking. He is a fine physical specimen unlike Hoffman. Rivera is good for two more years. HE is one of those guys that no one will ever catch up to and then he will vanish into thin air without anyone figuring him out.

He had nagging injuries in the 2nd half which could be a reason for a higher era and low K/rate. He's going to have a few more of those as the years go on. If those injuries cause him to lose velocity, then he's going to become more hittable. Though "Fading" for him is going from immortal to very solid. It's probably inaccurate to say he's going to have a Trevor Hoffman type implosion, but it won't be surprising if he has an era around 3 by the end of the year.
