How fukin odd. I used to be on the cusp as either the last day of gemini or the first day of cancer, now Im the fukin first day of Gemini or last day of Taurus????
I'm an only child & have no twin for fukin sure so I knew I never was much to do with the Gemini. This puts it all in perspective now, because I am now on my 5th Ford taurus

Now that astronomers at the Minnesota Planetarium Society have redefined the zodiac calendar, former Sagittarians and Capricorns born between Nov. 29 and Dec. 17 are buzzing about the unknown implications of their new sign.
Whether or not you're part of the 31% of Americans who believe in the astrological signs, who doesn't get a kick out of comparing their personality to their alleged horoscope traits?
(More on TIME.com: See your new horoscope.)
Alas, NewsFeed has consulted our, um, star readers, to answer some must-know questions about the 13th sign. Astrology believers ... behold! Doubters ... aren't you just a little curious:
The constellation Ophiuchus represents a man wrestling a serpent, dividing the snake's body in two parts. It is the only sign of the zodiac linked to real men, sharing traits with Imhotep, a 27th century BCE Egyptian doctor, and biblical Joseph.
Like Imhotep, Ophiuchus is considered a healer of men and a doctor of medicine or science. He seeks higher education and enlightenment. He is expected to achieve a high position in life.
(More on TIME.com: Read about the Chinese zodiac.)
Like Joseph, he is an interpreter of dreams and vivid premonitions. He is envied by his peers and favored by his father and authority figures.
The Asclepius and the Caduceus, the medical staff, are based on the constellation.
Now all you new Ophiciuchi can move beyond your identity crises.
I have a buddy who formed a NFL betting system off the signs of the QBs, this now completely throws it off

well- there are a lot of people saying this but its not true. apparently the current tilt of the earth's axis requires us to factor in this new sign's constellation into the astrological calculations in which some people believe.
this was not a sudden change that happened on january 1, 2009. its been a gradual change and while it wasnt a factor 3000 years ago, it is today and was 5 years ago, 10 years ago etc....
there are a lot of people saying this 2009 thing but its not true. just lot of people repeating after other people.

One of the most popular psychology-based personality classifications account for 16 types (Myers-Briggs).
BASIC astrology accounts for 1728 or 2197. Sun sign (12 or 13 haha) x moon sign (12 or 13) x rising sign[earth] (12 or 13).
So, which is more exhaustive and rigorous in defining personality? Hmmm.

And to answer the question: I would be a Libra, but I fit Scorpio (even when I didn't believe in the shit, I had to admit, I fit Scorpio sun, Gemini moon to a T. The good and the bad. It's scary.)
I am repping Scorpio hard, like King Ad-Rock from the Beastie Boys.

I don't really believe in this crap but a few years back I was bored in school and wasting time I looked up Aries on some website, it described what the personality and likes of a aries person is and even listed hockey, boxing, as sports that a aries sign would be into, then types of movies, music and other crap that was right on the money, freaked me out a little but still probably just a coincidence.

Well, gambler, put it this way, it still beat the odds. It only had a 1 in 12 (13!) chance of being right. That's a pretty nice money line underdog right there!

Proud to be an OPHIUCHUS;
from above,
The constellation Ophiuchus represents a man wrestling a serpent, dividing the snake's body in two parts. I am a Healer and a Doctor of Science, in Spirit I am Teacher of the Teachers as told to me from my Sage, Mark, in Sedona, Arizona, which is a very magical place. Avendar

What nonsense. Why astronomers care about their similarly named pseudo-science I'll never know.
Further, applying some actual logic to nonsense gets one nowhere. A house built to spec out of crap is still a mound of sh*t.

yeah now i hear that it only applies to people born in 2009 or later. so it doesn't matter, we're all still the same sign as pointless as they are.

Absolutely right! The time of birth is one of the most important factors of a personal chart. The story is making the rounds at the moment. It may have some effect years from now but the birth chart for all of us is set in the older way of viewing the stars.
