    sbrlines crashes firefox
I've used SBR Odds liveodds page for a month with no problems, but as of today, firefox instantly locks up when I hit that page, and reboots don't fix it. Have any changes been made today, or am I looking at uninstall+reinstall? Vista, Firefox 2.0.0.12

It seems to work fine for me sir. The pages are loading and the lines appear to be current and moving.

I have the same version Firefox and SBRlines is working fine.

I do notice they are adding things to the service, it seems like today, or I just didn't notice the last few days. Looks like you can control what books you want the sound of movements to come from.

I am not sure if that is causing your problems though. Try clearing your cache and maybe deleting your sbrlines cookies. See if that helps.

What operating system are you using?

I notice Firefox sometimes crashes on my Vista machine (so does IE) but runs flawlessly in XP.

Narrowed down the problem. If I can get sounds turned off before it freezes, the page I'm watching is stable and functional seemingly indefinitely. Of course since sounds auto-enable on any sport transition, it's still f'ing annoying. If sounds are enabled, I lock up on the first line change (or sometimes sooner). Complete firefox reinstall, + newest windows media player and flash plugins.

It worked fine until the new sound stuff- and BTW whoever decided to have sounds enabled by default, please change that (or at least let it remember). It's annoying as hell, and I have to keep turning it off when I go between sports.

Customize your settings to have sounds OFF by default. Go to "Customize SBR Odds - Click Here" (top left, underneath logo), create your account and choose the personal settings that best reflect how you use SBR Odds.

As for the browser issue you're having, check to see that you have Java enabled (to support the sound alerts). In FireFox, go to TOOLS > OPTIONS > CONTENT > Enable Java > OK. Hopefully that works for you.

I think all applications work much faster on IE

Firefox is a better browser but as far as line services and other java/flash type applications IE is the clear winner/

IE is unusable imo becoz the security is worthless, if something only works on IE or works best on IE, it pisses me off

its a windows machine, what would you expect? Seriously, give Safari a try, faster browser there is, no surprise its an apple product.
