Look at the teams before you look at obscure stats like that. Detroit plays alright at home and the Grizzles really live and die by their shot, if its not there versus a decent defensive Pistons team then they will be down 16 in the first half just like last game on the road.Comment -

Interesting that the line has moved from -1.5 to -2.5 for the Grizz. While I agree it is often best to be on the opposite side of the public in this one I don't think that is the case. In most cases we are talking about the public piling on to a favorite team such as the Lakers, Celtics, Heat, etc. The Grizz do not qualify in this case. Sometimes the public is fading a terrible team which creates value on that terrible team. Again I don't think this is the case. The Pistons are by no means great but they don't suck as bad as say the Cavs or Kings or Wiz (on the road). So I don't think this is the case. My call is that this move is being generated by wise guy money and the play in this game is the Memphis Grizzlies (especially if you can still get it at -2 anywhere).Comment -

Yeah, all depends on if the Pistons come out to play, especially in the 3rd quarter. They have plenty of talent to beat anyone when the effort is there. If you're betting this game, it's basically just whether or not you think Detroit plays as a team tonight and gives effort. As a Pistons fan, I wish the chemistry would finally click.
