#38Was a hot walker(beginner job walking horses that just exercised) at the race track when I was 17 .This old groom had a plug in hot plate in his room on the end of the barn.Had been walking this horse every day for a few months. After his 2nd race the trainer had him gelded. The groom filleted and fried up his balls. They are called "Mountain Oysters".Looked like small potatoes fried up.Told me to try one.Standing by the door to the shed row, I did.Tasted kind of meely.Asked him what it was and he told me it was 1/2 of one of "Abravado's" balls.Ran out the door into the shed and projectile vomited.Comment -

#66Durian was one of the first things that came to mind when I saw this thread as well. I tried it, but it remains one of the few foods in the world that I've eaten once and never intend to eat again. All you need to know about durian is that there are places in the world that they actually put up signs not allowing it (see below).
Grasshoppers are on my list, fried and quite tasty with some Thai pepper dipping sauce.

#69I've eaten just about any wild game one can think of. (Moose, elk, duck, goose, pheasant, caribu, alligator, turtle, snake, squirrel) Raw Oysters are cool.
I hunt a lot and go to many wild game feeds over the years.
The only awkward thing that I can say I ate while drunk and ice fishing one time. My buddy was like, "dude, we should eat/swallow a minnow live strait out of the minnow bucket". So we both put a minnow in our mouth and swallowed. In honetly felt pretty wierd flopping around in my mouth before I swallowed it. Don't know if I'll do that agian.Last edited by BIGDAY; 01-11-11, 10:20 AM.Comment -
