REAL Baseball starts on Tuesday!

[MadCapper]

Can't wait for the real season to start. I have a feeling this will be one of my best ever.

Who else can't wait until Tuesday!?!?

[ChuteBoxe]

Finally!

Even better.

[bigugly]

A nice change. This day couldn't come sooner!

[willyback]

A beautiful thing!

I will post my plays and thoughts on this game tomorrow!

[willyback]

Dice-K's probably going to stand "extra tall" in his native land. The Japanese culture is all about honor and pride. I don't see Dice-K losing to Oakland on his home turf. If anybody blows that game for Boston, it'll be the bullpen.

The public will be on Boston in this one.

Not sure I'd play such a big favorite this early in the season. Actually I'm pretty sure I won't. Maybe Oakland +1.5.

I will see tomorrow.

[rjt721]

Under 9.5.

Boston's offense not nearly as effective away from Fenway. Blanton has solid numbers against the BoSox in 5 career starts (2-1, 3.58, 1.35, .260), although Manny and Ortiz have both hit him well. You never know what to expect from Daisuke, but you'd struggle to find a weaker offense than OAK's in the AL.

Does anyone know the ballpark dimensions for the Tokyo Dome?

[thegreatdiatchi]

i wonder how nyy pitching will be. think we will see another scenario where it's best to bet against the yanks early on?

[rake922]

I hope I don't lose my shirt

The public's not wrong all of time. I'm not going to touch the game (personally). Way to early to start placing bets (that you actually intend to win).

Oakland could pull it off... if spring training numbers mean anything. I just think that Dice-K's going to be too sharp. Good luck to those who bet opening day.

[MadCapper]

posted my play....

there is no way boston is going to lose game 1. that is a lock. lock of the century. take out a loan and bet it al on dice-k. the game is fixed.

Real bases start next week

[OLGC_Slayer]

As far as I am concerned these are still exhibition games. I know they count in the real standings but........they are exhibition games.

[INVEGA MAN]

I see too many locks lose. I will take Oakland

[MadCapper]

I see too many locks lose. I will take Oakland

No locks in a game where the best teams lose over 60 games!

[OLGC_Slayer]

Anyone know where I can find Matsuzaka's numbers at this ballpark?
