You are actually comparing green bay to Seattle. Quit wagering away your rent.

Not comparing.
Obviously anyone playing Seattle will have a high spread.
Ok, Atlanta is a lock next week. There you go.

It's -1 cause the Packers are a good team, that, until the last two games figured out how to close out a game...

It will be similar to when the Saints beat the Falcons.
Matt Ryan isn't on Drew Brees or Aaron Rodgers level yet.

They were -1 in the regular season and people bet their houses and their cars on Packers. People never learn.

Different situation.
More people will be on the Falcons this time in a game that means something.
I was all over Atlanta in that game.
Yes they don't learn, they'll be on the wrong team again.

I think Donald Driver might be done. Woodson was limping too...not sure his status. Falcons defense is much better than Eagles and Starks wont do shit. Starks will give it up next week. Im on the Falcons. -1 is a gift.

Atl -1? Thought it be would be -2.5, -3. That's not a knock on GB either.

Most people will bet Packers. Falcons don't have marquee names even though they have the best WR, RB and TE of the 4 teams left in NFC. And you wonder why people can't win in gambling.
Seriously people does any team in the 4 teams left in NFC have a better WR than Roddy White? Better RB than Michael Turner? Better TE than Tony Gonzalez. I would like to know.

No, they are also solid on defense and are money at home. They were also very good against the spread this year.

This is key.
In the past, GB would have lost games like today and last week, but Defense came up with stops to seal it. All that matters is players become trained and used to winning close games, and they're finally doing it.
ATL played near flawless in first game against GB (24-28 passing, 0 turnovers, 117 rush yds with 4.3 avg, only gave up 17 points..tell me how you play better), but still got outgained 418 to 294 and benefited from a goal fumble by GB.
Now GB is playing at the peak of its confidence with the Defense playing the Best in NFL, AND the running game going. ATL peaked months ago and looked vulnerable at home losing to a down Saints team.
Classic spot to get beat at home. How often do we see this? Where the underdog playing at peak level goes on road to beat team coming off bye that peaked long ago? Last 3 years alone..
2007 #1 Cowboys beat by Giants
2007 #2 Colts beat by Chargers
2008 #2 Panthers beat by Cardinals
2008 #1 Titans beat by Ravens
2008 #1 Giants beat by Eagles
2009 #2 Chargers beat by Jets
This is a dream scenario for Packers win, and it's reflected in the line. #1 seed at home as a 1 point fav is unheard of.

So many Falcons homers, so little reasoning give why they will win.
"Eer derr, we be best record wit #1 seat, and teh Matty Ice be realz good. Falcons roll by 2 TDs LMAO."
The team is flat average and beneficiaries of an unreal favorable schedule and breaks, much like the Bears. And that buck RB Turner hasn't gotten over 100 yds in a month, got plugged by pathetic run D Saints for 72 on 2.8 YPC.

I disagree. I think Matty Ice is considerably better than Aaron Rodgers.

Books playing games. Hanging a juiced -1, when the -110 is on -2.5.
Think they're trying to get early bettors on a shit line.

Arguments for Atlanta in this matchup.
#1) They are extremely difficult to beat at home. (Yes, they lost to the saints but it was a more important game for the saints than the falcons)
#2) An extra week to prepare is a big edge in the NFL. This is why the divisional round has so many blowouts. Not to mention the better team is usually at home.
#3) Atlanta is the only team ranked in the top 5 in offense and defense left in the playoffs.

Agree with everything but Turner. He's legit, hurt the Packers the first time around, but Cullen Jenkins was out that game. He's healthy now and GB's best D-lineman.

Two weeks off vs a team with 6 days off. Thats an edge to Atlanta. GB head coach will make one stupid decision during the game.
