Superbowl Parties. What do you do?

Since I just spent an hour on the phone starting to plan ours, I wondered what everyone else does. Just curious and thought it'd be an interesting topic.... Fire away...

Just to get it started, as a highlight to the day, our card game starts after the football game.... Texas Hold'em
Everyone stays the night with wives or gf's at whatever place we rent for it...

I've done different things through the years, used to always go to the big sports bar in town about 3 hours before the game & get a big table & get hammered before game even started

And food... Oh man... the food. Filet's... appetizers, all the families bring something in addition to the catered stuff... one of our guy's is a local chef and kills us every year. The game is fun... The after game cards are fun... BUT THE FOOD KILLS!

Go to the party store and get those shotgun boards. Sell the 10 lines for whatever you want. Makes each quarter interesting. Also have a big stack of fives and singles and bet on every single play of the game. After the game we usually get a poker game going as well.

used to go to this guys house who had a really sick set up. he had over 8 televisions. beer on tap and a chicken wing contest with great prizes... no cost to anyone either... if you got an invite you were very fortunate. if not, then better luck next year. I don't see him much anymore but i would like to do something similar...

there are about five of us...each guy brings 100 bucks in ones and fives...and we gamble on anything and everything, coin toss, commercials, pass or run, scores, fantasy numbers, which bag of chips will be opened first, who will puke first.

Each guy is responsible for bringing 12 different beers as well...

Local club owner does free booze, free food party. To get in you have to buy a square on the board for $500. 4th quarter payout is $30,000, $5,000 for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. The 4 corners of the square that hits pay $250. He uses whats left over to pay for the party.

Piss luck to win anything, but it is usually a good crowd. Last time I went I hit two corners and broke even.
