Bookies is worth seeing once. Not the greatest flick ever but is good for a few laughs. I liked how they did the settling up putting money in the books at the library - that's pretty classic.

Some great ones there. Let It Ride is easily an all-time classic - anyone going to a track a few times can relate to EVERY character in that movie. So many funny scenes and lines.

The Color of Money is always one of my favorites, too. Was just on at 2am the other night and I had to stay tuned in the whole way. "You got to have brains and you got to have balls"

Two for the Money is a must-see for sports gamblers. I know some people didn't like it, but you've got to watch it at least once a year during football season.

Now there's a classic! "The Cooler" is easily one of the most underrated gambling flicks of all time. Made me a big fan of Alec Baldwin's acting especially.

There was a movie where these two guys were always betting against each other. It did not matter what they bet on, they just needed action. I only saw one small clip, I think they were sitting in the outfield stands of a baseball game and they were betting with each other about the next batter getting a hit or not, or a hr or not, or smething like that.

Pretty sure it was a comedy.

Anybody know the name of this movie? I would like to watch it.

It's not a movie but there's an episode of Seinfeld where Kramers bets the Knicks to win by 37 or more points for +1000. He wins the bet after getting into a fight with Reggie Miller who was ejected from the game.
