A point is worth roughly EIGHT CENTS.

#38if 1 pt = 8 cents, then 12 pts =1$.. that's not bad because you get 12 pts a day just for 1 post.. so basically, you get 365$/yr.. now just toss in another 2,500 pts a yr roughly just for SBR trivia.. so that's another 200+ dollars. plus you toss in some free pts you get like xmas pts, etc.. and you make roughly 700 free dollars a year just for doing something that you'd do anyways here..
and i'm sure 1 pt is not 12 cents and it's much more.. so basically, 1,000$/yr just to post at least once a day at sbr.
not bad huh?? it all adds up.. don't look at it as 8 cents. look at it as 1k/yr.. which pays quite a few bills, or a nice vacation on sbr, just for being here.
"Boys, they're just points."
Now lately you've been singing a different tune.

#40look at me. i'm almost at 2500 pts.. roughly 3 months ago, i was at 0 pts. and i have never made a bet at the sbr book. you have no idea how fast they add up. i've picked up 12 pts a day and an avg of 75 pts a week in trivia.
before i know it, i'll have 5,000 pts within 4 months. no need to gamble to build it up. it goes very fast.Comment -

#41i went on a good run for 3 days & went from 400 to 1100, had 200 to win 650 if VT had won through teasers & such, but didnt happen, so was back down to 980 & just made a power purchase in the store for 780 so back down to about 150. Will try to build back up to 1000 through the playoffs & maybe bet them all on the superbowlComment -

#42I think its just fun to bet them on shit you really wouldnt put a lot of money on, find something you want in the store within reason & bet your points to buy it. Takes the gambling edge off when you dont want to bet real money, thats allComment -

#59The thing with sports cash and Freeplays is they require a rollover , where the giftcards do not its straight cash so
not sure how you can determine a cash value for the points if you buy a cash or freeplay from a book since you need to risk again a certain amount of times before you can withdraw it.
If you do buy all or some giftcards trixtrix just remember do so before I think Feb. 15th that's when store prices go up and price per point value will even be less then 5.5 cents at that timeComment -

#60Be pretty nice to have a $5,000 target or walmart giftcard, we all need to shop these places for the general things it takes to get through life why not have SBR buy them for you.Comment
