Gary Kubiak Will Return as Coach of Houston Texans

DC Frank Bush Fired, Kubiak returns with a possible Wade Phillips hiring in the near future.

I dont know what to think about the Texans right about now...

The Texans will announce today that Gary Kubiak is returning for his sixth season, someone familiar with the situation said.

Kubiak meets with the media at 3:30 p.m. when the announcement will be made.

Earlier today, Kubiak fired defensive coordinator Frank Bush. That move becomes official at Kubiak's news conference. Other changes are expected to be announced by Kubiak.

Texans have one of the top offenses and one of the worst defenses. It seems like they've got some players on defense, though.

If they pick Wade for DC, they're in for another bad year. They don't have the personnel on def to make the change quickly, be another 2-3 years to have the def in place making such a big change.

dosn't it seem with the results kubiak'gotten, he has had the longest string to play with. Others fired after 1 or 2 season's like his.

It's official....Wade Phillips is the new defensive coordinator. I guess that's good but not sure. Thankfully they fired the rest of the defensive coaches.
