for anyone that plays golf I highly recommend the skydroid. It's only a $2 one time fee, I have played with it alnog side a $400 Skycaddie and yardage is right on par with the Skycaddie. I have also checked the yardage with my rangefinder and it was within 1-3 yards.

Gotta get angry birds, it's free and a great timekiller game. ESPN Scorecenter is also really good, also get advanced task killer, it makes the phone run much smoother imo

DO NOT ROOT YOUR PHONE, my little brother just did and downloaded some stuff and his phone crashed.

Music Wizard lets you download music for free.

swype is good if you text.

Scorecenter is pretty lame. Could be way better considering its made by ESPN.

Pandora is a must.

No, played 18 two weeks ago and both me and my friend used are phones, he has the Droid X and I have the first Driod. We both had less than half of battery after a full 18. I had also heard it drains the Droid X but my buddy has used it 5 time since he got it last month and has not had a problem with it.

Second Score Mobile. Much better than ESPN score center. As another said, it sucks. Angry Birds is a solid addition as well.

the choice of apps on the iphone and the droid are just about the same. my brother has the iphone and there is nothing that I cant get on my Droid that is on his iphone. not much difference between the two phones other than Verizon has much better service around the country then ATT

Yahoo Live Scores: like it so much better than espns it is just what you want, scores, stats, plays, alerts etc.

NFL Mobile: pretty sick just to have

Anything by google including the sky map (allows you to see the constellations) goggles (take pictures of things and it transfers to search the web)

Zedge: the best IMO for ringtones and wallpapers can find anything on that app (honorable mention to ARU ringtones)

Didn't care for the iphone I played with my buddies iphone and it doesn't compare to this monster...I fukkin love this phone its a mini computer..fast as fuk.plus don't own a mac..my brother built me a custom pc..anyway for those who contributed to the thread thanks.
