They probably got an incorrect score report. If they incorrectly grade something they're sure to correct it promptly. And there's no such thing as a "season win that's clinched" until the last game is played because season wins are void if 16 games aren't played.

55 actually, but it's apples and oranges. Grading the first half bet as a loser 10 minutes in was obviously a mistake and they probably got an incorrect score from whatever score source they use. Even the best books make occasional mistakes; the difference between a great book and a shit book is that the great book will correct the error in a reasonably prompt manner, while getting the shit book to correct it might be like pulling teeth. The OP is holding a simple mistake against The Greek because they follow a standard rule regarding season wins bet.
