Coach, I remember you used to say that gambling is a privilege. I think I have lost my privilege to gamble.
So Who Is Quitting Gambling This New Year??

I have been gambling since I was 14. I average about $22,000 losses a year which is not bad.Comment -

#42Pavs... You're the real deal. A testament to the truth of gambling, or at least one side of it. Obviously you can afford it and learned to manage it. I'm sure there's plenty who do this that can learn a thing or two from you.Comment -

#43I am not going to quit yet. I have made a commitment to spend less time doing it. Mainly because the way of life I believe in considers it wrong. I have made some good money doing this and in all honesty it's like a 2nd job to me. I am going to scale down my amount of bets and increase my amounts. So I'm able to open up some time by spending less on the forum, capping and watching games. If I notice loss of profits from this I may consider quitting.Comment -

#51Taking a sabbatical until the conference championships and first couple rounds of the NCAA baskets tournament. Best +EV weeks of the year right there boys as the doggies bark. Then bases hard work will ensue. Bases is the mealticket these days for me.
So not quitting, just a sabbatical for a few months to regenerate brain cells and regain mental sharpness.Comment -

Some bad advice here guys, if you are addicted you should quit. Period, "SBR did not raise quitters", WTF does that mean. JJ do you get paid to hand out this nonsense. Don't you realize this advice could possibly be very detrimental to some people. It could cause them loss of home, family and even life.
If you can control your gambling that is fine, if you cannot all this other stuff is complete bs, you should quit before you hurt people you love. Take this advise from a person that witnessed it up close. It ain't pretty.Comment -
