I have just spoken with a major book manager in Vegas and he said they lost a ton from Bama game but they made it all back and more on Northwestern covering.

He said it's all good. They are still in business.

Agreed. That 9.5 to 7.5 range is the 'dead' zone. Notice shops like Legends will regularly hang numbers in this range and take more on the money side like -125 or -130.
