don't chase, money management, beat the closing number, monitor line movements

dont take an over on a game you think will be a blow out.... if youre thinking one team will score all the points youre thinking wrong. you need both to put up points. ( games like the recent OK ST. football game. to hit that over you needed Arizona's help which you cant count on )

trust me its a good tip. you want games that will come down to the wire. 3 points become 6, 7 become 14, and the 4th quarter becomes OT

The number one thing i learned that has helped me make money in this business is reading the movement of the line. Sharp money isnt always right all the time, but its a good way to start to capping a game.

I've only got 1 year of serious sports betting under my belt, but here's some things I've picked up that I think are helping me.

Rather than trying to take the best bet of all available on a game, become an expert on something specific, like 1H Overs.

Study scoring patterns to maximize your odds by betting in-play at the best time on Matchbook or Betfair.

Too many 'small' parlay bets chasing big odds eats away your profit. (more than anything else for me)
