Anyone Have Any DVD Burning Software They Can Recommend?
I used to have DVDFab back on my old computer, don't really feel like shelling out 50 bucks for the new version, but wanted to know if there might be some other options I don't know about. PC, Windows 7.

I am using Roxio 10. It is easy to use, but the DVD's are choppy in my Blu-Ray player. They play fine in my DVD player and computer.

                  Burning on Sony DVD+r.

I don't think the software matters as much as the device you will be playing it back on.

I used to but I won't download software from torrents, too risky unless I trust the source

I can't figure out how to get files I uploaded to my desktop into the program. It says drag and drop but every time I do it gives me an error message, kinda funny too, it says "Damn, we have a problem." The error message says "unknown file format" but I am not all about converting files, I just want to put a DVD in, get the file into a program and burn it to a new disc, then delete everything. Like I said, DVDFab was amazingly simple but I don't feel like shelling out the dough right now. Might have to.

What are you trying to burn? ConvertX should be able to convert and burn it with just 1 click of the button. Im not sure what version you have, I have covertxtodvd4.

For me, Go to the top right corner to the green + sign. Hit that, find your file and hit convert and wait.

Like I said, DVDFab was amazingly simple but I don't feel like shelling out the dough right now. Might have to.
it looks like he is having trouble with that program. I will give him the DVDFab

Okay I am just using this program now, says 29 minutes to convert these files.

Then I still have to burn the disc.

I don't know, seems slow. is this the normal amount of time? It is the history of The Chicago Bears, so it's pretty long.

coug, you can't get no mo simple than this. pick the folder where the files are as the source, and the destination is the dvd burner. click start. im not sure why you are wasting time converting files?
