They threw the game out of spite of the Big 12 conference officials so they won't get any additional money for the Bowl win for Big 12 conference as a payback for screwing them up and not letting them win the conference after numerous questionable calls against them in the regular season.

They just didn't care to be in that game. Also, it was Lockers last game and you could tell all the Washington players actually were trying and were riding a 3 game win streak anyways so why not close it out with a bowl victory for the first time in 9 years. Nebraska coach looked like he wanted to go to sleep...Taylor Martinez could of cared less because he hates the coach.Comment -
