I went down there one time on Sunday when they "opened the lines" a year or so before they closed... After hearing how impressive it is was to see all the action players jostling for a place in line I honestly wasn't that impressed... Maybe it was the place to be ten-fifteen years ago but this place went way down hill towards the end especially with the boom of pinnacle, betcris, etc...

That was the worst series in the history of baseball for NYY fans like us yet all other fans will rate it as one of, if not the best. The only other thing that came close to that imo was Mattingly's last yr where Seattle brought in the Big Unit to shut us down.

In general I hate Boston sports but I actually like the city alot and have respect for the working class music scene around there. It's worth a trip even though it's home to the Red Sox.

Good lord, everyone around here looked like zombies after that week. I bought a new bed an had it delivered half way through that series...the poor delivery dudes looked like they were gonna puke. They had been out ALL night drinking after the game. I tipped them well. GGGOOOOOO SOX!!
