The refs control the Tennessee game fix in?

See thats what I thought at first, but not after thinking about it longer. The runoff occurs when the offense commits a penalty to stop the clock, such as a false start, the too many men on the field penalty can't be called until the ball is snapped, therefore it cant be used to gain an advantage in stopping the clock. My 2 cents.

I agree and none of the plays have been clear cut. They robbed the kid from Missouri on a 4th down catch, the game, etc. Where does it end?

The refs made the right calls. Tennessee melted down. It's their own damn fault that they lost the game. I didn't have anything on this game so I could have cared less who won. Game was already called over in the LSU/TENN game earlier this year. Refs reviewed it and saw UT had 15 guys on the field.

They CORRECTLY called the penalty then, and they CORRECTLY called the penalty (and allowed for 1 more second) tonight.

There SHOULD be a 10 second runoff for penalties with the clock running by the offense in the last minute (like the NFL). But, there ISN'T.

So screw off, and HA HA.

Tennessee screwed themselves on this one. Personal fouls and poor decision making screwed em way more than the refs did.
