Don't be betting 1000 to win 100 on Philly ML.

But this past weekend. Baltimore at -165 and Indy at -130 were solid ML bets.

Tonight I'm betting WVU and Mizzou ML's. I don't like 3's especially in college football, when a game can go to OT and after 2 they have to go for the 2 pt conversion.

I take ml's but usually only to -200. Anything beyond that and you are likely to get burned at some point and dig a hole that is hard to get out of.

Ya, you and all the other squares who think it's 99% fail safe...ML's are usually only profitable on dogs. I never will go higher than -160 on a ML...but then again, who am I to give gambling advice. Just a rule I've always lived by

I very rarely lay chalk on a ml and I am often playing +200 and above. Have hit some nice little winners on these, esp at the low juice books. At the higher juice books I find that I am playing a lot more spreads.

Perfect example was yesterday's Bowl games. If you liked NC State and Iowa you should have played the +140 ML's on them. If you liked WVU and Mizzou you should have played the -3 or -2.5 lines available on them.
