Mizzu had their chances in this one. Just one of those games you hate being on the losing side. Onward and upward we go.
Fish...Is there any reason to back Iowa today?

#107Missouri, like a couple of the other bowl games, proved that form does not always hold. They should have won and covered, but weird stuff does and can happen. I liked Tulsa and the points and the over tp. the over tp went to form, but man, no way was Tulsa better team than hawaii on their home turf. Stuff happens.Comment -

#108Heading into the game, was in a win $2,011 or lose $386 position................hindsight says I should have wrapped up a sure win and taken more of a position with Iowa...........but stayed heavy on the value side and my personal lean.
EEEEK!!
Let's all profit today folks, it's another day.
By the way, happy for all those that made money with the Iowa side, nicely done.Comment -

In the position that I stated, you should understand how much I had on Missouri ML and at -1.................

"In the position that I stated, you should understand how much I had"----really? Is there a Fishhead decoder ring SBR hands out to read through your nonsense?
All I can do is read what you post. You posted you went in "Big" on Missouri (Both ML and -1), and somehow managed to only lose 356 (Without a play on Iowa).
I doubt there is anyone other than yourself of course, who could explain that one without having their eyes glaze over from confusion.Comment -

Hey Fishhead, did we all miss the post where you advised the board to reduce risk by buying the Iowa ML after it went up? See, I recall all the "go big on Mizzou at pk/-1" posts.
I'm not criticizing your decision to hedge. It just rings pretty hollow to come here the day after and turn you "Huge" Mizzou play into only a small loss. Just saying.Comment -

Fish never just mans up and puts himself on the line with a play. Oh, he is really good at telling you after he lost that he "middled" something, but he isn't about to say it beforehand.
What makes Fish's story even sillier is the fact that he said he managed to reduce his losses while not playing Iowa, which is what he posted.
We all lose, most of us can laugh it off and move on. Fish has some wacky need to have "internet cred" by posting these silly notions that he middles every play.Comment -

#128I am curious, does anyone in this thread believe Fish? It doesn't appear that way.
It also appears that Fish had a moneyline on Missouri that paid 6-1 odds yesterday.
Anyone else get lucky and find Missouri going off at 6-1 odds last night? Yeah, didn't think so.
If I had to guess, he will say he got the magic number from Matchbook.Comment -

Example, one could have layed -108 on the moneyline with Mizzou ..........1080 to win 1000
One could have taken as much as +140 back at Matchbook the day of the game, but we will use only +131 in this example with one laying 800 to win 1064.
Thus, for every 1000 wagered on Missouri, one could have put themselves in a position of..........
MISSOURI -108........1080 to win 1000
IOWA +131..............800 to win win 1048...............resulting in a position of..........
MISSOURI +200
IOWA -32
In this example, one would be recieveing 6.25-1 on their MISSOURI wager.Comment -

Note, in the above example, this is referred to as SCALPING, not MIDDLING.
With Matchbook, one can do this on SPREADS and MONEYLINES.
My personal positions on the game had me with SCALPS involved with the ML and at -1...........and as stated, could have essentially put myself into a WIN-WIN situation but as noted, loved the Missouri side in the game and thus LOST ON THE GAME.
Risked 386 to win 2011 on MISSOURI and got hit over the head.Comment -

He is very good at claiming he made his scalp AFTER THE FACT.
Never before.
He is such a fraud.
Chime in if anyone actually believes him. I am curious.
Oh, and I was right. He used his very own verion of fantasyland (Matchbook) to support his nonsense.

#137Fish, how about you explain how you laid your money on Mizz instead of giving these tenuous examples of scalping?
MISSOURI -108........1080 to win 1000
IOWA +131..............800 to win win 1048
All I see here is you scalping for a -$32 if Iowa wins and +$200 if Mizz wins.
Yet you claim to have Mizz at 6:1, how the fk would you do that without backing Iowa u shit.

You made no mention of buying back anything.
Fish. We get it. You need to be liked. We get it.
The problem is---no one believes you.
Any more big money line plays you want to tell us about and then claim to have made a buy back later when it loses?
I didn't buy it back fully......
Liked MISSOURI in the game AND LOST..........
By the way, as far as nobody believing what I state, fact is I know hundreds and hundreds of posters personally on this board, all whom I consider friends that know firsthand, so why would I care if a few internet ghost believes anything I say???.........I don't.
Now go out and try and improve upon your life today, with the antics you're displaying in this thread, you are only bringing yourself down and the results will have a tremendous negative impact on you in many areas of your life, both today and down the road............and I don't want to see that happen to anyone.

Fish, are you reading this from a script?
Let me try a Fish thread.
1. Make a bold prediction (Missouri ML).
2. Watch wager lose.
3. After the game, tell everyone he managed to cut his losses by scalping the game (with no mention of hit beforehand).
4. When frustrated, remind everyone how many friends he has here.Comment
