Paterno Rumors Flying

Lots of stories all over the net about Paterno right now. Sure Penn State could use a change, but more importantly college football should honor the guy before anything tragic happens. Lots of speculation on his health right now, but he would never let that out. Different stories have had Chris Peterson of Boise, Urban Meyer, Tony Dungy, Dan Mullen of Miss St, and Bill Cowher's names have been thrown around. This will be interesting to watch over the next few weeks.

Penn State's recruiting class this year is ranked 80th on Scout, and 77th on Rivals. They have 7 verbals to date, and the longer they let Paterno hang on, the more trouble they are going to have.

I agree...except I don't think Al Golden, or some wanted Greg Schiano from Rutgers a few years ago. They need a big time name, and if Al Golden knew there was any chance of getting Penn State he would never of jumped on Miami so quickly. You know discussions always take place behind closed doors with coaches.
