save up some more money slim and find you a house you can afford. and use that house as a stepping stone. The Housing market will improve and values of homes will go back up. single wide and double wides actually lose value with age.

I like the single. You can park it in a back alley & run a prostitution & gambling ring out of it

This one is 1 bedroom, 1 bath, 610 sq ft for $33,000. I guess it's a single wide.

I agree. Old ones would lose less but then you have lot rent and an old trailer.

Is that a 70's or 80's? Price seems high unless it was redone but still high imo.

I really like my double wide. It is kind of expensive to heat in the winter though.

Don't forget to check the price of lot rent.
If you do go this route, check the floor and frame on it. Look at the roof and check to see if they are the original windows.
I would also find out if that part would allow you to rent it out if you decide to at a later date. Just gives you and option if you you have problems selling it.

Don't buy it if you have to pay rent to the trailer park.
