So I've diagnosed myself with a concussion. This happened Sunday. I'm feeling ok for the most part. Just minor headaches. Being the holidays all my friends are back in town and heading to the bar. How bad is it to drink days after a concussion? If I google it it will obviously tell me not to. But they pretty much have to say that. Just trying to find out if it's a big deal or not.

ya, that's what most people said when I googled it but nobody really knew for sure

hoping there's somebody with knowledge on the subject that can tell me it's not really a big deal

sorta like drinking and taking advil or whatever. Most people say don't do it but I've been doing it for years without problems

I received one this summer. playin some frizz and flipped over a fence. When I came to, I thought I got in a car crash, because it felt like I couldn't open my eyes and everything was black, but I could hear people talking. Noticed I had puke all over myself 10 minutes later. Continued to have 2 more beers after that.

Then the next night I drank again, only because I had a headache, and the only cure I could think of was to have a few beers.

I don't believe in medicine, so I don't take advil or tylenol to cure headaches. I drink.

Wow, drinking right after you blacked out and puked on yourself and then again the next night

Ya, I won't drive. Although I'm in this position to begin with because I chose not to drive and slipped on some ice while walking home from the bar. Coulda been a lot worse I suppose had I driven.
