Penguins/Capitals Over 1.5 1st Period (-135)

Both teams are going to get off to a fast start, especially with the HBO cameras rolling filming Episode 3 of their 24/7 Series "Washington/Pittsburgh: Road to the NHL Winter Classic". Take it for what it is but I really like this play. The Capitals are average on defense so don't be suprised if Crosby and Malkin take advantage of that all game. Also, Dallas Stars -1.5 (+190) looks good against a struggling Calgary team. Good Luck!

Yup they are a joke in the 1st period this year. Last year they led the league in 1st period goals and this year they are 22nd overall in the 1st They have scored almost twice as many in the 2nd period this year. Not sure WTF is wrong with the super powers this year.

Pretty much every time the Caps miss a 1st period over they score in the first two minutes of the second. Let's see if they pour salt into the wound of you 1st period over backers. I hate when these chumps do this.
