That is what I am having trouble with too. Why is the line so low if So. Miss. is so good and St. Louis so bad?? Are the oddsmakers that far off on this game?? Tough one for me to decide.

Southern Miss was outshot by 20 shots yesterday and managed to win at the line. Against decent teams their margin of victory has been around 3 points, I think thats really why this spread is like this, 6 was probably too much to begin with. But who knows in a tourney like this on a neutral court.

yeah about 60% are on so. miss. they lead st louis in about every statistical category. pts per game and they are 3rd in the nation in rebounds per game. line opened around 6 and went down to 4.5. either they baiting people that pay attention to line or baiting the public

These are 2 small schools that I doubt every person knows to much about.

St Louis hammered a Northeastern team that was really good last year.
Southern Miss barely won yesterday.

I didn't even know Southern Miss had a basketball team.

Going off of yesterdays games you'd think St Louis would be playing well enough to win. That's why I'm guessing the line moved.
But hey I'm an idiot and took Southern Miss today.

Like I said...People see Northeastern and know they did good last year, and they got BLOWN out yesterday by St Louis. People could just be throwing money on St Louis for that reason. But who knows.

Go Southern Miss...they won me some money in football, might as well in Basketball also.

Like others said...On paper, now way Southern Miss should lose...but what looks good on paper, doesn't always transfer to the court.
