I actually played on a beer-league softball team called the Fighting Cheese Weenies, and it was indeed funny after the game to hear the other team lament losing "to a bunch of weenies."

what pisses me off is coed church leagues. "hey lets have a girl pitch and play 3rd base. they won't light up the pitcher if its a girl". BULLSHIT i won't take the ankles right out from under her legs if she pitches it outside

usually the girls played rover, catcher and first if I recall. It was fun after the workday to play ball and drink a few cold wobbly pops during and after the game. In BC it would be light out till 10pm during the summer
