Ravens -135? Had to rub my eyes . . .

Last night the ml on TheGreek for the Ravens was -135.



Jumped on that for $300.

I mean, I'm not under any illusion that I'm smarter than the guys establishing the line but I just don't get this one. Too good not to bet.

Parlay this ml (Ravens) with the steelers, cowboys, chargers, patriots and eagles and you've got a good bet with a more than decent return.

I know it's a parlay and people out there hate parlays, but it's a pretty low risk parlay in my opinion as all the teams in the parlay win these games 95% of the time.

ML so low because Browns almost had huge upset in Baltimore earlier in the year.
Ravens didnt have an answer for Peyton Hillis then... should be an interesting game but the Browns are still coming to play this season... especially in the DogPound

JRod, yes I follow the NFL. I'm not talking about history. I'm saying these two teams as they are now no matter where it's played Baltimore wins 95% of the time. Baltimore is a better team and more motivated than the Browns. More to play for.

And Sorry buys, I was wrong. The line when I took it was -185.

You're right wizard, I'm a dumbass. And no I'm not all in but got a $100 bet from me. Take $25 and play along. If it loses call me a dumdass. If it wins, buy a few beers on me and toast my greatness. But I am betting each game individually as well. but parlaying moneylines is how I turned $100 into $1,000.

Just for the record, that parlay is: bet $100 to win $414.41. Can someone convince me that I have negative expected value here?

Don't get me wrong, I know this bet could possiblely lose but at the return it's getting, I think if this week's games are played 100 times and I make the same bet each time, I've won more money than I've lost. Isn't that what sports betting is all about, finding +EV and betting it? (Of course in sports betting positive EV is opinion until the game ends).
