Marquez has 3 losses. He lost his first fight in 1993 by DQ because of a head butt. He lost in 1999 to Freddie Norwood who was 35-0-1.
He lost to Chris John in 2006 but got jobbed by the judges because the fight was in Asia and he also had two points deducted for low blows.
If not for round 1 when the scores were 10-6, 10-6, 10-7 Marquez wins the first fight against Pac-Man.
Sure Marquez is older and Pacquia could dominate but there's no way I'm laying the wood. The price says take Marquez.

Well you better look at their KO percentages again, almost identical. And take a look at how many more power punches that Marquez threw then Pacquia.
Like I said it may be an easy victory for Pacquia but the play is Marquez.

the value clearly points to taking marquez as the live dog, but i believe the boxing sense pts to taking the younger, stronger, faster, fighter who knocked the other guy down 3 times in one round in the first meeting, credit to jmm for getting back up and showing heart, but 4 yrs later, age doesnt bode well for him, if the fight was even on the betting line, you could not in good faith take jmm, you would have to take pac-manComment -

JMM won the fight... again. He backed up Pac more than most thought possible, and had an answer every time Manny landed his left. Close fight, but just as the first encounter, Marquez did enough to get the decision.
Lederman's scorecards are getting more laughable by the day. I didn't think he could top scoring the fight for Paul Williams over Quintana last month, but giving Pac the last round is awfully close. Clearly a Marquez round... one of the more one-sided rounds of the fight.Comment -

Had it 8-4 rounds for Marquez. Another joke decision in boxing. Manny had 30-40 second spurts in random rounds and gets the decision off of the belt holder. ****ing joke. No surprise he says he doesn't want a 3rd match with Marquez.
