Line Prediction for 12/26 Eagles/Vikes game?

I think Peterson will play and Favre won't. I would still say Eagles -14.5.

Rationale:
-That Viking third string backup is going to be pretty bad. Lots of guys in the box, make Webb beat them. I will be shocked to see consistent first downs out of the Vikes.
-Where the game is being played
-Eagles have something to play for. Fraizer is trying to get a job, and Webb is trying to not be terrible but that is about it for the Vikes.
-Vikes defense is top ten but I suspect they will be on the field a lot against the highest scoring team in the NFC.

A line like that I would stay away from. Ryan you might be guilty of reverse-homerism

With Peterson in and Favre out, thinking it will open just under a 2 TD margin, likely -13.5. Don't think Webb could have played any worse on Monday night so that will be fresh in people's minds. On the flipside, what the Eagles w/Vick did to the NYG will only make people back Philly even more. Public will move this line past 2 TD's to the 15/16 point range. I hope Favre does play which will keep the line a little more balanced.

Deluxe_liner you are 100% correct when it comes to being a reverse homer. I bet my teams knowing they will lose or not cover because of me and underestimating their lines. But I still haven't seen a line out on this bet anyone have one up?

If you're a fan of playing the O/U due to weather conditions, this might be your game. Lock in now as the line will move. Good chance that this game is played in blizzard like conditions as a storm is forecasted to hit the PHL area 12/26-12/27. Watch the O/U line adjust downward in the next few days as the forecast becomes more and more accurate. You heard it here first.

I don't know how I feel about the birds -14 but time is slipping this will be 17 by gameday unless there is a epic blizzard.

Favre is listed as doubtful and Peterson is questionable at this point. It appears Philly needs this game also so they do have the 'motivation' angle working for them. BTW - Vick suffered a leg injury last game, assuming it's not serious as he is listed as probable.
