Don Meyer, dean smith, herb magee, jim boeheim should all be considered. (Not sayin that i disagree with you, just some food for thought)

Even though I am a Carolina fan, I think Coach K will be the best of all time. Everyone knows about all the wins he has and that hes most likely the first male head coach to reach 1,000 wins but due to the academic Prestige Duke has its quite amazing his players are eligible... and he tends to have 3-4 year guys

Jim Boeheim is one of the most underrated coaches... 800 wins... puts out a highly competitive team year in and year out... the guy is just a talented coach

Don Meyers did not get as much respect because he coached at a d2 but hes the all time winningest coach to date

Dean Smith... Carolina fan but he still has the credentials

Doesn't Naismith need to be up there? Then I'd go Wooden, Knight, Coach K.

Meyer was a great coach, but the fact that maybe 1% of basketball fans knows who he is discounts his appearance at Mt. Rushmore. But I'd include him in the list of other great coaches like Jim Phelan, Dean Smith, Hank Iba, Phog Allen, Lefty Driesell etc.
