Explain to me how that line is an indication that anyone is betting on Orlando right now let alone the Mavs backers trying to middle?


After the puzzling jump overnight the line is moving in Mavs favor as was expected. I doubt anyone backing Dallas would tough Orlando, even if the line moves over 5 points and has them as a dog that they should have been in this game.

I still like the Mavs - someone mentioned that even tho both teams are on on B2B, Orlando actually had to travel further (from Atlanta) than Mavs (from Miami)!

You really buy into B2B being a factor even though the league record is as close to 50/50 as it gets. And that goes back like 5 years now?

I'm new to this, so i'm no expert but it seems like the B2B is already factored into the line and adds no advantage either way.

I wouldn't bet anything involving Orlando, Phoenix, and Washington for the next weeks. They're back to November 1st, as far as I'm concerned.

I don't really think it's an advantage, just that it's not a disadvantage. Both teams on B2B, so basically a wash - the more important thing about the B2B is that Orlando doesn't have time to really practice to get their new players acclimated to system.

I think everybody needs to relax on Orlando. Just because they added more 3 point shooters doesnt mean they will click right away it still will take time for them to read each other on the court. Take the Mavs along with the Mavs ML they wont let you down.

Funny though how Washington has reacted. Almost taking down the Heat and then absolutely annihilating the Bobcats. And thats still without their new player Lewis and still without Wall.

They really didn't though. Thats the funny part.

Vince, Lewis and Pietrus are all excellent 3 point shooters. Thats not what they added. They THINK they added 2 playmakers (gave up 1) that will be clutch for them but i think the 2 of them are no more then just names and will not preform as expected. Not only that they will damage the team by taking the ball out of Nelsons hands who is really their best clutch guy.

I think there is some value with Dallas at +140. Orlando is in transition and the mavs are the best road team as of now. I put a couple units on it.
