I think this reflects the fact that in a bad weather game, anyone can win as the passing game will be ditched for more emphasis on the running game. I think the correct line for a neutral site game between CHI and MIN shoul'dve been no more than CHI -4.5 but heck what do I know lol.

You're calling it a neutral field because? It's 2.2 miles from the Metrodome....its not exactly at Wembley or Mexico City.

In that regard- yes, but I am hard pressed to call it truly neutral here....It will still be Vikings biased crowd, although losing the advantage of the noise in a dome probably makes your point a little more valid.....just trying to get a handle on it I suppose.

I've posted this elsewhere but I think it bears repeating. Tonight's field conditions should go a long way toward negating a pass rush. Hard to get any traction or leverage on snow and ice. Factor accordingly.

Let it keep falling and then swoop in on the Bears at the low. Could be jumpy in the couple hours before the game as Favre rumors/news come in. I think the line move is mainly because of his upgraded status. If he is announced as playing, I think line falls to -5/5.5. If he is not active then it goes back to a solid 7/7.5. They will stay around the current 6.5 until more is known.
