Interesting game tonight, Webb as QB, freezing weather...
Anyone on Minnesota?

If you like the Vikings, you should at least be able to get them at 7 1/2

Just bet the under... Probably get more defensive touchdowns than offense if there are any at all!

I'm seeing 9's If you like Minny at least have the sense to get the best possible spread. The fact that you made this thread less than an hour ago just opens up a lot of questions. Spread is 9

9 points is alot of points for a home team to get in a low scoring game.

Second snow game in a row for Chicago. We all saw how that panned out for them last week .
Little Joe Webb info:
"Working out as a wide receiver at UAB pro day, Webb turned in numbers that would have bested the cream of the rookie crop at the combine. His vertical jump of 42.5 inches was better than any turned in by a receiver in Indy. His long jump of 11 feet, 5.5 inches also would have led the way.
And Webb's bench press—21 reps at 225 pounds—was the best at his position. Only one other receiver managed 20 reps at the same weight, according to UAB athletic department. Webb also ran the 40 yard dash in a fast 4.43 seconds"
Wish there was a way to check the record of athletic QBs in snow games. Can anyone think of a scenario similar to this?

I have Minn at +8 and ML +290. I'm thinking it will be low scoring and I like the dogs in those games. Let's hope for one of those Cutler meltdowns

Vick was 1st to beat GB @ GB during snowy playoffs. Vick is another animal though ... no literally he's some kind of hybrid between a human and a gazelle - little known fact

should play out exactly like last night, young athletic qb gets it done and i really like the over here should be a couple of fumble and int's with ap and cutler, lots of playmakers are hard to stop on a shit field

Who knows what is going to happen in this game. Seems like a good time to lay off and enjoy being inside while they are playing on a sub-par field and freezing weather.

Take the prop for a defensive or special teams TD. Unfamiliar field, could be sloppy, rookie QB, Cutler ... I see many possibilities for a non-offensive TD.

It's Vikes +7 on Bookmaker.
I took Vikes +4 first half.
To me this just feels like a value bet. If the field conditions are as crummy as projected, I don't see either of these teams' offensive weapons really making a huge impact. In a coin flip, I'll take the points / value and just hope that the Vikes don't shoot themselves in the foot and maybe catch a good break.
Does anyone have any strong argument that either team have some specific advantage that will prevail even in these conditions? After that game in Chicago when New England put up such huge offensive numbers, I'll believe anything - but this game just feels like a coin toss.

If Farve plays tonight, its going to be a different story, I won't put a dime on this game until I see whether or not he is starting.

the midway monsters will stack the box with 8 to limit AP n then test Webb n his ability to make plays down field. how much do i trust webb? id say not very much especially in cold weather against one of the better Ds in the league the bears r not happy with the beatdown they got 4rom the pats las week theyll be out for blood...if webb makes typical rookie mistakes 2nite n the bears get a short field out of it could be a long nite for the vikings i like chicago here for this reason u don jus plug in any1 at the qb position n expect success in the nfl
