I have used for many years only electric shavers. I slightly prefer the rotary type, it is faster and slightly closer, but it does not give fine control of the areas to shave (as needed when profiling the beard).

I don't think I"ve ever owned an electric. I use Mach 3 for any shaving I do. If I try those cheap disposables it looks like I escaped from a SAW movie

Definitely blade. Bloody shavers leafve me more red and irritated than a blade because I have to sit there pressing it hard up against my face forcing it back and forth trying to get one or two random hairs which refuse to be cut. and then it doesn't even leave my face feeling smooth!

I've never used a good electric shaver, they always gave me a shitty shave where I had to keep going over the same area a million times. So the mach 3 razor it is.
