eHorseX is part of the Horizon Twenty family of books, so needless to say I know my funds are fairly safe & secure. In fact this is actually the second go around with an exchange I believe, because if I remember correctly the first attempt was a bust.

I've had an account with eHorse since 2001. The first exchange ended when the hosting company, from England I believe, pulled out. They then took a year to develop their own in-house software. They are the only exchange I know that matches bets on U.S. horse racing.

Their commissions start at 5% and go as low as 1.75% depending on your volume.

Their free Derby BC Cup contest is awesome (up to $6000 1st prize) and easy to place high if you know how to play it right which almost no one does.

Hoopster, before you go jumping to conclusions based on ratings you have to know certain facts. I've known about this group since 2000 and honestly I don't recall any non-payment complaints on any of the forums I visit.
You have to remind yourself that book ratings are made based on various factors, who knows, maybe they're rated B based on software.
One thing is for sure, since 2000 the industry has seen some tough times and we all know about the competition, this book is still there buddy.Does that not tell you something?

I don't see any complaints levied against any of the Horizon Twenty family of books at this time. In fact the last one I can find in the SBR archives right now was from 12/28/05 against ParlayCardz (a slow pay complaint), and that matter was resolved in within like 10 days time. Since that time this group of books have been running very smoothly from what I can tell off the surface.

Dan, they usually match several thousand $ per game or race. Just had a look at today's NBA games. You can get a fill on the best offer for about $400.

I too had one slow-pay issue with them back in late 2005.
