Tennessee plays a very physical brand of basketball. If the refs tend to call lighter fouls, they'll obviously get the bulk of the whistles.
In the end, a lot of people will say South Carolina got robbed due to that horrible non call in the end....

Loftin continues to be Mr. Clutch. I'd be a little more concerned about some interior defensive problems shown against a generally weak South Carolina squad, and a little less concerned about the zebras if I were a UT fan heading into the big tourney. It'll be VERY interesting to see how the Vols respond tomorrow. I've been a fan of Bruce Pearl for sometime, and have admired the Vols' scrappyness all year. This game worries me in terms of the Vols' depth, as well as their ability to compete in a tightly officiated game (in which at least one out of a potentially six games would certainly be come tourney time). This game was almost as disturbing to me as the Memphis game was encouraging.
My opinion is that S. Car. was clearly the right side today and the Cocks would have covered no matter what today Cee, but BOT might say otherwise. GL this evening...
