Before you make a play, you research stats and every one favors your hunch, even the obscure stats. Then as soon as you confirm the play and go back to see the stats again, you notice 80% now seem to disfavor your pick. How the fukk is that even possible?

I was researching the Packers/Pats game for tomorrow and not one stat was in favor of GB, every stat pointed to a NE blowout. As soon as I confirm my wager, the first two stats I see afterwards are:

    - Road team is 3-0 ATS (last 3 meetings)
    - New England is only 16-14 on Sunday night

I sometimes do stuff like that and I know exactly know what you are talking about and I do relate. Most of my plays are point and click... good luck and god bless!

yep, i do it often. Kinda happened to me a little while ago. I was gonna put a large wager on one play tomorrow so I was looking for that golden nugget play...After about 45 mins i finally came to a decision and then like 2 mins later I found a game that I would much rather wager on...

Not to me, but that resembles a good friend of mine's luck, haha. Always put in the wager, then he sees the stats and voila, haha

research helps a lot. there will be stats for and against your pick always. it is how you interpret them . and of course fate. analyzing trends , stats always will give you the advantage regardless whether you are with the public or against them. i dont pay attention much to what the public is betting. last week i bet the colts when i saw it on the board , THEN i realized how big the public was on them. that did not dissuade me from betting them big. lost that one though and i can thank mr jeff fisher for that one .

As far as the 3-0 ATS for the road team, it goes back to '97, so it is not really relevant. I'm sure that the NFL tries to put one of the better matchups on Sunday night, so there will be fewer blowouts with bad teams. Again 16-14 record has to be over many years. GL.
